St Fillans
One of Scotlands hidden gems, beautiful St Fillans - which in 2017 celebrates 200 years since it was named - has plenty to offer all ages, with watersports on the scenic Loch Earn, two excellent restaurants overlooking the loch, three bars, a general store, two coffee shops, a stunning golf course, loch side walks, strenuous hikes, and off road bike trails. Bustling in the summer, beautiful in the autumn, romantic in the winter, and colourful in spring, it is a real place for all seasons. The village is located on the edge of Perthshire within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, in the southern highlands of Scotland, and is within 15 minutes drive of three accessible Munros (mountains), and within 30 minutes of many more. It is a great place for exploring Scotland with your family.
